Snowball Technology has been supported by several investors: Huami, Haitong and Tencent.
Tencent Holdings Ltd.
The first and most high-profile Snowball investor was Tencent Holdings Ltd. Tencent is a Chinese multinational with a company valuation of over $500 billion, specialising in various Internet-related businesses including, but not limited to, video games, artificial intelligence, search engines, social networking and entertainment. The Tencent conglomerate is perhaps best-known for developing WeChat, an application for messaging, mobile payment and social media with more than 1 billion monthly active users. Tencent backed Snowball in 2014 with a 20 percent stake in venture capital.
Huami Corporation
In 2018, NASDAQ-listed Huami Corporation invested in Snowball. Huami is a Chinese manufacturer and global market leader of wearable devices such as Amazfit. Huami produces all wearables for tech giant Xioami, which owns a forty percent stake in Huami.
Haitong Securities
Haitong Securities is a securities firm in China, providing services in stocks and futures brokerage, as well as investment banking, corporate finance, M&A, asset management, mutual fund, and private equity.
Haitong was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in July 2007 and has a market capitalization of more than $17.9 billion.
